From the Main Menu select Boundary > Tables > Boundary Tables > Effective Width Scale Factor Table. |

Refer to "Effective Width Scale Factor" Refer to Usage of Table Tool and enter or modify the following data: Elem: Element number Scale Factor: Scale factor for Iy z_top Scale Factor : Scale factor for the distance from the neutral axis to the top fiber for stress calculations z_bot Scale Factor : Scale factor for the distance from the neutral axis to the bottom fiber for stress calculations J-END : Check on J-End to enter Effective Width Scale Factor for J-end differently from I-end. Use this function for a tapered section or even for a prismatic section when Effective Width Scale Factors at I-end and J-end are different Group: Boundary Group name of the designated boundary conditions |
