Define Animation Time

In order to reduce the time for generating animations, animation time and increment are defined in the preprocessing, which processes all the required data for generating animations for the analysis conditions.

If a Time History Load Case is selected and Time and Increment are entered, 'TA: time history load case' can be selected in post-processing (Reaction, Deformation, Force, Stress). If a TA Type load case is selected and Animate under Type of Display is checked on, the result according to the Time and Increment specified in the pre-processing will be animated.

If this function is used, Animation related data will be generated at the same time when the analysis is performed. This saves the time required to generate Animation data after the analysis and allows the user to check the Animation results much quicker. In addition, Animation results can be shown for general post-processing menus as well as the Time History Result menu.

From the Main Menu select Load > Time History Analysis Data > Define Animation Time

Select Time History Analysis > Define Animation Time in the Menu tab of the Tree Menu.

Animation Time

Select a time history analysis condition defined in "Time History Load Cases". Click to the right to prompt the dialog box defining the load Cases/Combinations if not defined previously.

Start Time: Start time of animation of analysis results

End Time: Finish time of animation of analysis results

Increment: Time increment for analysis results to be animated

Operations

: Add a selected Time History Load Case.

: Select a Time History Load Case already entered to modify the animation requirements.

: Delete a Time History Load Case already entered.
