Displacements Table

Check the nodal displacements of the analysis results in a spreadsheet format table.

Table Tool in midas Civil offers a variety of powerful built-in functions. Refer to Usage of Table Tool for detail directions:

From the Main Menu select Results > Result Tables > Displacements.

Refer to "Displacement Contour"

Upon executing the Displacements Table function, Records Activation Dialog prompts. Click after selecting the output entities such as nodes or elements, loading conditions, construction stages, etc.

Note
Refer to Results Table of "Usage of Table Tool" for the usage of Records Activation Dialog.

There are 3 ways to check the displacement results, Accumulative displacement, Current step displacement and Real Displacement (accumulated tangential displacement).  Real Displacement is produced only when Initial Tangent Displacement for Erected Structures is checked on in Construction Stage Analysis Control Data with Include Nonlinear Analysis checked off in Analysis Option.  Nonlinear Analysis automatically provides Real Displacement results.

Refer to Usage of Table Tool and check the following data:

Node: Node number

Load: Unit load case/combination

Stage: Construction stage

Step: Sub-stage

DX: Displacement component in GCS X-direction

DY: Displacement component in GCS Y-direction

DZ: Displacement component in GCS Z-direction

RX: Rotational component about GCS X-axis

RY: Rotational component about GCS Y-axis

RZ: Rotational component about GCS Z-axis

Note
The Stage and Step columns in the Analysis Result Table are produced for a construction stage analysis or Hydration Heat Analysis. The Step column is produced also for a geometric nonlinear analysis
and material nonlinear analysis.
