Rather than going through the cumbersome process of selection and arrangement for checking member forces after analysis, the summary capability allows us to concisely produce beam forces for specific members, load cases and force components. |

From the Main Menu select Results > Force Summary Table > Beam Force. |

Bridge Girder Element Group Enter the name for items to be displayed in a force summary table. Multiple names are permitted and they may be selectively displayed in a table. Type Now that the force tabulation method differs from type to type of a bridge, a force summary type should be selected. There are three types and the corresponding bridge types are as follows: Type: I = for RC Frame, RC Slab Bridge Type: II = for PSC Beam Bridge, Steel Girder Bridge Type: III = for Steel Arch Bridge Element Select the elements of which forces will be displayed. Enter the element number directly or select the element by using Selection function. Format Abs: Display the absolute maximum value when producing an envelope. Min/Max: Display the minimum and maximum values altogether for the moving load or automatic support settlement load cases/combinations for which the analyses result in the min/max values. Part Locations at which output is produced - a total of 5 locations can be selected. Loadcases/Combinations Specific load conditions can be selected. Items of Display select among axial, shear forces, torsion and moments. This is activated for Type II & Type III. |
