Transverse Stiffener of Section

Enter the spacings of transversal stiffeners for steel sections.

This function is available when design code is specified as "Eurocode3-2:05".

From the Main Menu select Design > Steel Design > Transverse Stiffener of Box Section.

New for Civil 2013

Select a section from the Section List to enter transfer stiffeners.
 

All section have the same stiffener: Check on to enter the identical stiffener spacing for i-end, middle, and j-end of a member.

i-Node

Pitch: Spacing of Rigid transverse stiffener at i-end of a member. When "All section have the same stiffener" option is toggled on, the entered pitch will be applied to i-end, middle, and j-end.

middle

Pitch: Spacing of Rigid transverse stiffener at middle of a member. It is activated when "All Section have the same stiffener" option is toggled off.

j-Node

Pitch: Spacing of Rigid transverse stiffener at j-end of a member. It is activated when "All Section have the same stiffener" option is toggled off.
