From the Main Menu select Design > RC Design> Rebar Input for Plate Beam. |
|
|
First, enter the name of the rebar input for plate beam considering both Main Rebar and Distribution Bar: Main Rebar / Distribution Bar Define the arrangement of reinforcement. Num : Number of reinforcement per unit length is entered. CTC : Spacing of reinforcement is entered.
Note. For the slab and wall of culvert, the amount of main rebar is determined by the loads applied to the structure and the distribution bar by the crack control for which a minimum rebar area is required as per 7.3.2 of EN 1992-1-1 (or 5.10.8 of AASHTO LRFD). The program provides this minimum rebar area for the distribution bar.
Top / Bottom Enter the reinforcement arrangement data of top / bottom of the plate element. As : The area of reinforcement is calculated according to the input data. Layer : Number of layers of rebars. Num : Number of reinforcement per unit length. CTC: Spacing of reinforcement. Size1/Size2 : Rebar Size. Dt/Db : Cover distance from the top/bottom surface to the center of the main top/bottom reinforcing steel.
Note
Stirrup Enter the shear reinforcement data of the plate element. Size: Size of shear reinforcing steel. Spacing: Spacing of shear reinforcing steel in major direction. Number : Number of shear reinforcing steel per unit length. : Add the newly entered reinforcement data for Plate Beam Checking of the sub-domain. : Modify the previously entered reinforcement data for Plate Beam checking of the sub-domain. : Delete the previously entered reinforcement data for Plate Beam Checking of the sub-domain. |
