SLS Reserve Factors Table

Generate a table summarizing the structural adequacy for the stress limit checks based on the assessment checks for SLS.

From the Main Menu select Rating > Bridge Rating Design > CS454/19 > PSC Bridge > Assessment Result Tables > SLS Reserve Factors Table

Element:  Element ID

Part:  The i- or j-end of the element, giving the Node ID at that end in square brackets [Node ID]

Class:  The specified class for stress limit

Rating Case:  The relevant Load Combinations for Assessment. Assessment check is performed for 12 sets of concurrent forces for each load combination.

Load Effect:  Indicates whether the bending moment is positive (sagging) or negative (hogging).

sig_c:  Compression stress in the concrete. Compression is positive.

sig_c_lim:  Compression stress limit in concrete.

sig_t:  Tension stress in the concrete. Tension is negative.

sig_t_lim:  Tension stress limit in concrete.

A:  Structural Adequacy – calculated as the stress limit divided by the applied stress, taken as the worst from the compression and tension case.

Check:  An overall indication whether the section passed all checks and is OK or Not Good (NG)
