Section for Assessment Check

Specify the locations for which the assessment checks should be carried out and the stress limit class to be used for serviceability.  The results for the selected elements will be available under the assessment result tables.

From the Main Menu select Rating > Bridge Rating Design > CS454/19 > PSC Bridge > Section for Assessment Check

Option

Add/Replace:  Add/Replace the assessment output options for the elements selected in the model view.

Delete:  Delete the assessment output options for the elements selected in the model view.

Position

I:  Perform checks only at i-end of the element

J:  Perform checks only at j-end of the element

I&J:  Perform checks at both ends of the element

Class Category

Specify the stress limit class for serviceability checks (See BD44/15, cl. 6.3.2).

Tendon Type for Class 3:  Type C: Pre-tensioned tendons distributed close to the tension faces.

Check on this option in order to apply item c) in Table 25 of BS5400-4, cl 6.3.2.4 for the hypothetical flexural tensile stresses for class 3 members.
