Lateral Torsional Buckling Data
Specify the lateral torsional buckling data for the lateral torsional buckling.
Lateral torsional buckling of composite beams is verified using simplified method given in EN 1994-2, 6.4.3.2.
From the Main Menu select Design > Composite Design > Lateral Torsional Buckling Data
First, select the members in the model and enter the following data:

Both end parts (I & j) have the same shear connector: Check the box if the lateral torsional buckling data is entered under I tab, an identical data will be automatically entered under J tab.
Distance between the springs (l): Specify the distance between the springs. Spring Stiffness: Specify the spring stiffness Alpha( for k1): Specify Alpha for K1 Spacing between the parallel beams: Specify Spacing between the parallel beams. |
