Transverse Stiffener of End Support

Enter the transverse stiffeners of end supports.

Select the end support nodes for which Stiffeners will be entered and enter the data required for Transverse Stiffener of End Support.

From the Main Menu select Design > Composite Design > Transverse Stiffener of End Support

First, select the members in the model and enter the following data:

Select Support
The list of nodes assigned with end supports is displayed. Check the box to the left of the nodes for which Transverse Stiffener of End Support will be entered and enter the data to the right. By clicking on the Add button, the node number and the stiffener type will be displayed in the lower box.

ht: Width of stiffener

t: Thickness of stiffener

e: Spacing of stiffeners (Available only for Rigid end post)

: Click on the [Add] button after selecting the element in the model and entering the Transverse Stiffener of End Support data to display the list of selected elements.

: Click on the [Modify] button after modifying the Transverse Stiffener of End Support data to reflect the modification in the model.

: Delete the entered data of the selected member.
