Concrete Allowable Stress Limit Load Case

This feature enable the user to verify compressive and tensile stress at service limit state after loss with appropriate load combinations. As per the clause 5.9.4.2 of AASHTO LRFD (2012), compression shall be investigated using the Service Limit State Load Combination I and tension should be investigated using the Service Limit State Load Combination III.

 It is activated when AASHTO-LRFD12 is selected as PSC design code.

From the Main Menu select PSC > PSC Design Data > Concrete Allowable Stress Limit Load Case

Service Limit 1

Select Service Limit State Load Combination I to be applied in compressive stress verification in prestressed concrete at service limit state after losses.

Service Limit 3

Select Service Limit State Load Combination III to be applied in tensile stress verification in prestressed concrete at service limit state after losses.
