Load: Load to Mass

Function

Convert the values of the vertical components of the entered loads (loads acting in GCS (-)Z-direction) to masses and enter them as lumped mass data.

Call

Main Menu: Analysis > Load > Load to Mass...

<Load to Mass>

Load Set

Select a Load Set in which the specified load is included
Click to the right to prompt the Define Load Set dialog box to add, modify or delete Load Set. If user types the name of Load Set directly in the entry box, the program will automatically create the relevant Load Set.

 

Mass Direction

Assign applicable directions for the converted masses.

Load Type for Converting

Select the vertical load types to be converted.
 

Gravity

Acceleration of gravity
 

Load Set / Factor

Load Set

Select Load Set to be converted.
 

Scale Factor

Enter a scale factor to be applied to convert the loads to masses.
 

The user can reset all of the selected input data using the button.
