Curve: Create Tangent to Conic Curve

Function

Create Tangent lines extending from selected points to a selected Conic Curve. The Conic Curve and the Start Point(s) must exist in the same plane.

Call

Geometry > Curve > Create 3D > Tangent to Conic Curve

Select Target Edge

Select an Edge to which Tangent lines will be extended.  Only a Conic Curve (Arc or Circle) can be selected.
 

Select Start Point(s)

Select the Start Point(s) of new tangent lines to the selected Conic Curve.  You may select existing vertices or any points using Snap.
 

Use Snap

Use Snap to define Start Point(s).
