Change Boundary Group

Boundary conditions of a predefined Boundary Group are copied or moved to another Boundary Group or deleted. When boundary conditions for each construction stage are created for a construction stage analysis, copying or modifying the previously defined boundary groups may prove to be more convenient.

From the Main Menu select Model > Group > Change Boundary Group

Select Geometry > Group > Change Boundary Group in the Menu tab of the Tree Menu.

Options

Copy: copy the boundary conditions included in Source Group to Target Group

Move: move the boundary conditions included in Source Group to Target Group

Delete: delete the boundary conditions included in Source Group

 

Boundary Group

Source: original group

Target: destination group (inactivated when Delete is selected)

: click to prompt the Define Boundary Group dialog box to add or modify groups.

Item: select the types of boundary conditions to be copied, moved or deleted.
