Query Nodes

• Function

Query the coordinates of nodes and all types of nodal attributes (loads, boundary conditions, etc.).

• Call

From the Main Menu select Query > Query Nodes.

Select Query > Query Nodes from the Menu tab of the Tree Menu.

Click Query Nodes in the Icon Menu.

Shortcut key: [F4]

• Usage

Query

Assign a query item from the list.

Node: Nodal coordinates

Note
If the nodal coordinates are consecutively queried, the distance to the previously queried node is additionally provided.

Node Local Axis: Node's local coordinate system

Support: Nodal support conditions

Point Support Spring: Nodal elastic spring support conditions

General Spring Support: General spring support conditions

Rigid Link: Constraint conditions between the master and slave nodes

Nodal Mass: Concentrated nodal mass

Nodal Load: Concentrated nodal load

Specified Displacement: Nodal specified (forced) displacement

Nodal Temperature

Dynamic Nodal Load

Node Number

Directly enter the node number to be queried in the entry field, or click the entry field and the relevant node in the working window. The queried nodal information appears in the Message Window.

Note
The node numbers and coordinates can also be easily checked with Fast Query. Fast Query displays the basic attributes related to a node or an element snapped in the Model Window in a Bubble Tip.
