Unbraced Length (L,Lb) Table

Display the unbraced lengths and laterally unbraced lengths arranged in a table in the order of element numbers.

Modify/Delete or Add New while reviewing the entered data.

From the Main Menu select Design > General Design Parameter > General Design Tables > Unbraced Length L,Lb).

From the Tables tab of the Tree Menu select Design Tables > General Design > Unbraced Length (L,Lb).

When the table shown is displayed, the user may select relevant items to Modify/Delete, or Add New data.

Elem: Element number

Ly: Unbraced length for buckling about strong axis

Lz: Unbraced length for buckling about weak axis

Do not consider: Option to consider the unbraced length

Lb: Laterally unbraced length

Auto Calc Le: Status of effective length auto -calculation

Le: Auto-calculated effective length.
