Story Hinge Status

Check the hinge status resulting from the Pushover analysis in a spreadsheet format table.

Table Tool in MIDAS/Gen offers a variety of powerful built-in functions. Refer to the Usage of Table Tool for detailed information.

From the Main Menu select Design > Pushover Analysis > Pushover Hinge Result Table >  Hinge Status Table

Select Design Tables > Pushover Analysis > Story Hinge Status in the Tables tab from the Tree Menu.

Upon executing the Hinge Status Table function, the Records Activation Dialog is invoked. Click after selecting the output entities such as load cases, pushover steps, etc.

Note

Refer to Results Table of "Usage of Table Tool" for the usage of Records Activation Dialog.

Refer to Usage of Table Tool and check the following data:

Hinge Status Table (FEMA Type)

Hinge Status Table (Multi-Linear Type)

Load Case: Pushover load case

Step: Increment step

Note

Additional Pushover Steps are generated under Reference Step and can be checked in "Additional Pushover Step for Story Drift" in Design > Pushover Analysis > Pushover Curve.

Element Type: Element type (Beam, Truss, Wall) used in Pushover analysis

Level of Hinge Status is marked as below.

1. For FEMA Type

2. For Multi Linear Type
