Mass Summary Table

The nodal mass data entered in the analysis model are verified from the table presented in a spreadsheet format.

Table Tool in midas Gen offers a variety of powerful built-in functions. Refer to the following items for detail directions:

From the Main Menu select Query > Mass Summary Table.

Select Query > Mass Summary Table from the Tables tab of the Tree Menu.

Refer to Usage of Table Tool and enter or modify the following data:

Nodal Mass(X)

Node: Node number

NodalMass: Concentrated nodal mass

LoadToMass: Conversion of vertical component of dead loads into nodal masses

StructureMass: Conversion of self weight into nodal masses

Sum: Sum of all the nodal masses at each node

Y and Z directions are identical to X direction.
