Assign Column Capital

 

 

 

Assigns the Column Capital which is defined in the Define Column Capital function to the column member.

 

 

 

From the Main Menu select Node/Element > Flat/Plate Structure > Column Panel > Assign Column Capital.

  1. Option
 - Add / Replace:Creates or replaces the defined Column Capital. To define

   Column Capital, select the columns in the model view and press the apply   

   button.

  - Delete:Deletes the selected Column Capital. Select the column in the

   model view and press the apply button to delete the existing Column Capital.

 

  2. Column Capital Name:  Select the Column Capital which was defined in

  the Define Column Capital function. You can open the Define Drop Panel

  dialog box by clicking the  button.

 

  Note.

  The area designated as Drop Panel or Column Capital should be placed in

  the Mesh Slab. If not, it will be ignored in the analysis / design
