Assign Drop Panel

  1. Option

  - Add / Replace:  Create or replace the definedDrop Panel. To define   

   Drop Panel, select the columns in the model view and press the apply button.

  - Delete: Delete the selected Drop Panel. Select the column in the model view

   and press the apply button to delete the existing Drop Panel.

  2. Drop Panel Name:  Select the Drop Panel which was defined in the Define

  Drop panel function. You can open the Define Drop Panel dialog box by   

  clicking the button.

  Note.

  The area designated as Drop Panel or Column Capital should be placed in

  the Mesh Slab. If not, it will be ignored in the analysis / design. That is, the

  Drop Panel or Column Capital placed on that column is ignored in the

  analysis / design. Since the column strip design is calculated as the

  minimum thickness of the strip, the width of the drop panel should be wider

  than the width of the strip. (If it is set narrower than the strip, it is designed

  to have the minimum thickness in the end area of the strip design)
