Refer to Usage of Table Tool to enter or modify the following data:
ID: Material number
Name: Material name
Type: Material type
Code: Standard material specifications
Code Name: Specific material specifications
Elasticity (Force/Area): Modulus of Elasticity
Poisson: Poisson's ratio
Thermal(1/[T] ): Thermal expansion coefficient
Density (Force/Length3): Weight per unit volume
Sp. Heat (BTU/Force•[T] ): The ratio of thermal energy required to raise the temperature of a body 1° to the thermal energy required to raise an equal mass of water 1°
Heat Conduction (BTU/Length•Time•[T]: Conduction Coefficient
The property of a material to conduct heat in the form of thermal energy.
Conduction is the process by which heat flows within a medium or between different mediums in direct contact. The energy is transmitted by molecular communication.
Material Type: Select Isotropic or Orthotropic material type.
