Use the Tower Arm feature to easily model the arm of complex 3-D steel tower structures. |

From the Main Menu select Structure> Wizard > Tower Arm. |

||||

||||
|
Enter the information of the arm body.
W2 : Enter the top width of arm body.
Front : Select front shape
Plane : Select plane shape |
Enter the shape of the arm.
[Number of Panels] : Enter the number of panels
[Front Type] (A) Select the front shape of arm. (B) Select the shape of truss. (C) L: Enter the horizontal length of the left (right) arm. (D) H: Enter the vertical height of the left (right) arm.
[Plane Type] (A) Select the plane shape of arm. (B) Select the shape of truss (C) D: Input the value only for trapezoid arm of plane (D)
Internal: Select the type of internal truss of arm body. |
Insert Point
Enter the position to insert the created arm.
(A) Click the input box and then select the position on the modeling screen.
(B) Input location information from the keyboard.
Rotations
Enter the angle to rotate when inserting the generated arm.
(Unit: Degree)
Alpha: Rotation angle about the global coordinate system X axis.
Beta: Rotation angle about the global coordinate system Y axis.
Gamma: Rotation angle about the global coordinate system Z axis.
Origin Point
Select the node of the arm to be placed at the Insert Point.
If you select Origin Point, it will be displayed as a red node in preview.
: Close
the wizard after inserting the body into the modeling screen.

Close the wizard.

Insert the body into the modeling screen and close the
wizard.
