Create Line Load to be used for Limit Equilibrium Slope Stability Analysis in which no nodes and element are used. Applicable Modules:
| ||||||
| ||||||
| ||||||
| ||||||
From the Main Menu, select Limit Equilibrium Method > Loads > Line Load From the Command Line, type 'LineLoad' or 'LL' | ||||||
| ||||||
| ||||||
Load SetSelect the Load Set under which the Line Load has to be assigned . Click to invoke the Define Load Set dialog to Add, Modify or Delete Load Set(s).
Load Type Point Load Concentrated force and moment. Distributed Load Uniformly/linearly varied and full/partial distributed load.
Position Specify the location of the load. Select Curve Select curves to apply load. LX Distance from the left end of the curve to the start point of the Line Load. RX Distance from the right end of the curve to the end point of the Line Load (activated only for Distributed Load).
Type Activated in case of Point Load. Force Moment
Direction The direction of load is deactivated if the load is moment. Normal Direction Global X Global coordinate X-Axis. Global Z Global coordinate Z-Axis (only Global Z can be entered if the Line Load is Distributed type).
Value Define the magnitude of load. Point Load+Force F (kN) Point Load+Moment M (kN.m) Distributed Load w1, w2 (kN/m)
Click Preview to check the created Line Load. The dialog box will be initialized. After creating the load, the dialog box will close upon clicking. Click the ESC key to close the dialog box. After creating the load, the work process will switch to the state of Select Curve upon clicking.
