Seepage Function

 

 

Define the function for Seepage boundary condition.

In Transient State Analysis, a Seepage boundary (condition) function is defined to reflect water head, flux, etc. varying with time.

From the Main Menu, select Boundaries | Analysis > Boundaries > Seepage Function image111.gif

From the Command Line, type 'SeepageFunction'

Name

Name of the Seepage Function.

 

Time, Value

Seepage boundary condition function is defined in terms of values varying with time.

Note: Steady State Analysis assumes constant ground water flow but for Transient State Analysis, a time varying boundary condition is required (using a Seepage Function).
