Staad Import

Import post processing analysis results of Staad which was previously modeled in midas nGen and exported to Staad for analysis.

¢Æ Call

[Interface] Tab > [Analysis Program] > [Staad] > [Import]

¢Æ Detail Description

Procedure

 1. Perform analysis in midas nGen, then export Staad file (*.STD)

[Interface] Tab > [Analysis Program] > [Staad] > [Export]

 2. Perform analysis of exported Staad file(*.STD) create in step 1.

 3. After analysis in Staad, copy analysis result text file(*.ANAL) onto the folder where midas nGen model is located.

 4. Import Staad analysis result text file Staad Import(*.ANAL) from midas nGen

NOTE.png 1. If there is shape modification (member add/delete/move) of midas nGen model which is imported to Staad after analysis is performed in midas nGen, it is not possible to import the file.

NOTE.png 2. If file name is modified, it is not possible to import the file.

NOTE.png 3. If the analysis results show large displacement or member force causing output of ********** text within *. ANAL file, it is not possible to import the file.
