Setting

Define drawing set which is based on grid function.

After performing analysis, [Report & Drawing] Tab > [midas Drawing] > [Setting]

   Column Layout : Set a column layout drawing based on lowest level or story.

   Plan : Set a plan drawing for each level or story. If no story data, Level of grid is used.

   Foundation Plan : Set a foundation drawing based on lowest level or story.

   Rebar Arrangement : Set a rebar arrangement drawing for each story. It is supporting to drawing a rebar arrangement for Flat slab and Footing member.

   Pile Arrangement : Set a pile arrangement drawing based on lowest level or story

Drawing Set setting order

    1. Click Auto Generate to list column layout and plan drawing that can be created on the basis of Level Grid information.

    2. Create drawing list and click Add to save drawing type which will be outputted from Drawing Set.

    3. Click OK to close Drawing Set dialog.

 

Name: Auto-generated drawing name. Double click to edit the name.

Cutting Position : Define cutting position on basis of Level Grid. Default value is set as 0.5m above Level Grid.

View Depth : Define the visible range below Cutting Position. Default value is set as 1.0m. When plan drawing is created, Cutting Position and View Depth decide the constituent of drawing.

Represent curved surfaces on the drawings when creating DB  Sections : If there is section with curved surface within DB sections, represent curved parts on the drawing.

midas nGen drawing output function is based on Grid. If model does not have Grid defined, plan or section drawing cannot be generated correctly. In order to output drawings properly, it is necessary to extract Grid from following path.  

[Structural] Tab > [Orthogonal Grid] > [Extract Grid]

Elevation or section drawing can be generated on the basis of plan drawing in midas Drawing.
