Cable Force

Check the cable element forces in a spreadsheet format table.

Table Tool in midas is powerful and contains a large variety of built-in functions.

From the Main Menu select Results > Result Tables > Cable> Force

Select  Result Tables > Cable> Force  in the Tables tab of the Tree Menu.

Upon executing Cable > Force Table, Records Activation Dialog prompts. Click   after selecting the output entities

such as nodes or elements, loading conditions, construction stages, etc. Press    to display all information about the object, and it may take a considerable time to display.

Elem: ID number of elements

Node I: Node ID number of Section I

Node J: Node ID number of Section J

Load: Loading condition

Tension: Cable tension at Section i

FX: Cable tension in GCS X-direction at Section i

FY: Cable tension in GCS Y-direction at Section i

FZ: Cable tension in GCS Z-direction at Section i

Tension: Cable tension at Section j

FX: Cable tension in GCS X-direction at Section j

FY: Cable tension in GCS Y-direction at Section j

FZ: Cable tension in GCS Z-direction at Section j
