Beam Summary
|
|
|
Produce the results of inelastic hinge formation of the Lumped and Distributed type, in a spreadsheet format table.
Table Tool in MIDAS/Gen offers a variety of powerful built-in functions. Refer to Usage of Table Tool for detail directions: |
|
|
|
From the Main Menu select Results > Result Tables > Inelastic Hinges > Beam Summary |
|
|
Upon executing the Beam Summary function, Records Activation Dialog prompts. Click after selecting the output entities such as nodes or elements, loading conditions, eigenvalue modes, etc. It may take a long time occasionally.
Note Refer to Results Table of "Usage of Table Tool" for the usage of Records Activation Dialog.
Refer to Usage of Table Tool and check the following data:
Beam Summary Tables
Type: Inelastic hinge type
Elem: Element number
Hinge Location: Locations where inelastic hinges are assigned. For Lumped Type, it displays as i, j, i & j, FX. For Distributed Type, it displays according to the number of hinges.
Inelastic Hinge Prop.: Inelastic Hinge Property name defined
Load: Time History Load
Time/Step: Time/Step
Deform: Deformation occurred at the current step
Force: Member force occurred at the current step
D/D1: Ductility (Deformation / 1st Yielding Deformation)
D/D2: Ductility (Deformation / 2nd Yielding Deformation)
Status: Hinge Status (Elastic, 1st Yield, 2nd Yield, 3rd Yield)
P1: 1st Yielding Strength
P2: 2nd Yielding Strength ?produced only for Trilinear and Tetralinear hysteresis models
P3: 3rd Yielding Strength - produced only for Tetralinear hysteresis model
