Merge Nodes

 

 

 

Merge all the nodes (more than 1) including their attributes (nodal loads and nodal boundary conditions), witch exist in a given range.

 

 

 

From the Main Menu select Node/Element > Nodes > Merge.

Select a method of merging nodes.

 

All
All the nodes are targeted.

 

Selection
The nodes selected by the Select functions are targeted.

 

Number
A particular range of nodes are targeted.

 

Starting Number: Starting node number of the range

 

Ending Number: Ending node number of the range

 

Tolerance
Merge all the nodes within the distance defined by the Merging Tolerance into the first created node.

 

Remove Merged Nodes
Remove the nodes that are no longer used as a result of merging.
