Material List
Display the steel, concrete and rebar
material properties entered during the creation of the analysis
model. Select the material property to be modified or changed
with the mouse.
SRC Material Selection
Display the selected material property
data separately classified by steel, concrete and rebar.
Steel
Material Selection
The selected steel material data can be modified or changed.
The steel material data can be changed
by using
the steel material database built-in the program
or by directly
entering the data.
Using
the steel material database
Select the design code and the material
name with the mouse (refer to Note
1).
Direct
entry by the user
Select 'None' in the Code field and
enter the name of the material property in the Name field. Then,
each field is activated so that the following material property
data can be entered :
Es
(Modulus of Elasticity): Modulus of elasticity of steel
Fu
(Tensile Strength): Tensile strength of steel
Fy:
Yield strength of the member which is thinner than or equal to
1.5'' (refer to Note
2)
Concrete Material
Selection
Display the selected concrete material so that the material data
can be modified or changed.
The concrete material data can be
changed by using
the concrete material database built-in the program
or by directly
entering
the data.
Using
concrete material database
Select the design code and the material
name with the mouse (refer to Note
3).
The steel rebar and the concrete
standards are identically displayed and can be changed by the
user if necessary. In other words, the standards for the steel
rebar and the concrete do not necessarily have to be the same.
Direct
entry by the user
Select 'None' in the Code field and
enter the name of the material property in the Name field. Then,
each field is activated so that the following material property
data can be entered :
Specified
Compressive Strength (fck/fck): Design compressive cylinder
strength of concrete
Reinforcement
Selection (refer to Note
4)
Code:
Select standard for rebar (refer to Note
5)
Main
Rebar: Grade of main rebars
Sub-Rebar:
Grade of sub-rebars (shear rebars)
Fyr:
Yield strength of main rebars
Fys:
Yield strength sub-rebars (shear rebars)
:
Update the previously defined material data.
:
Do not enter the selection and close the dialog box.
Note 1
The steel material standards are classified by None, ASTM(S),CSA(s),
BS(S), DIN(S), EN(S), JIS(S), GB(S), JGJ(S), KS(S), KS-Civil(S).
Note 2
The maximum thickness of a member determines the value of Fy.
Note 3
The concrete material standards are classified by None, ASTM(RC),
CSA(RC), BS(RC), EN(RC), JIS(RC), GB(RC), GB-Civil(RC), KS(RC),
KS-Civil(RC).
Note 4
When rebar data for SRC members have not been entered in the analysis
model, the following values will apply:
Main Rebar = Grade
60 (Fyr = 60 ksi)
Sub-Rebar = Grade
60 (Fys = 60 ksi)
Note 5
The rebar material standards are classified by None, ASTM(RC),
CSA(RC), BS(RC), EN(RC), JIS(RC), GB(RC), GB-Civil(RC), KS(RC),
KS-Civil(RC).
Note 6
The applied values of the moduli of elasticity of the rebar are
defined as follows:
The
allowable stress design of the American SSRC(Structural Stability
Research Council) (SSRC79) : 29,000 ksi
The
SRC design of the Architectural Institute of Korea (AIK-SRC2K)
: 2.10 106
kg/cm2
Note 7
If "None" si selected in the Code field, user defined
materials are used for design.
