Notes |
Colors can not be assigned to vertices. Consequently, colors can not be assigned to compounds, which contain vertices. The colors for each Shape Type can be specified in View > Display Option > Shape Color. Most Surface Edit functions can be operated while retaining the colors. Some functions such as Sew, Boolean, etc, which combine a number of shapes into a single entity cannot retain the colors. The Shell->Solid, Solid->Shell and Wire->Face functions create new Shape Types while removing the original shapes. So the colors can not be retained.
