Cut A
new shape extruded from the local Prism Profile is cut from the original
shape. Fuse A
new shape extruded from the local Prism Profile is added to the original
shape using the Boolean Fuse operation. Select Base Face Select
a Base Face, which will become the basis of extruding a local Prism Profile. Select Local Prism Profile Select
a local Prism Profile (Face, Wire, Edge).
Only one profile can be selected at a time. Select Local Prism Direction Select a Local Prism direction for an Extrude operation.
Select Extrusion Direction Select a direction
(Datum Axis, Datum Plane, Face, Edge) for
extrusion directly Select a direction of extrusion by a vector which is defined
by two specified points. The coordinates of 2 points may be specified
using Snap. Extrude the selected profile in the normal direction of
the profile provided that it can be defined. If a Line or a curved Surface
is selected as Extrusion Profile, it can not be used here since its normal
direction can not be defined. Reverse Direction Set
the local Prism Direction to the Reverse direction. Drafted Extrude the local Prism Profile by gradually reducing the cross sectional area.
Angle Specify
the draft (slope of reduction) angle. Extrude Length Definition
Height Specify
the Height (depth of extrusion) directly. Extrude
the profile up to the selected Face. Specify
a starting Face and an ending Face for the Extrude operation in the From
Face button and the Until Face button respectively. The
Prism Profile is extruded to infinity. It is only
applicable for the Cut operation. The
Prism Profile is extruded from infinity. It is
only applicable for the Cut operation. The Prism Profile is extruded from negative infinity to positive infinity. It is only applicable for the Cut operation. |

Notes |
When a Edge of Base Face overlaps a Edge of Local Prism Profile, it may need more time to make Local Prism Cut or it might not make normal Solid. Therefore, Local Prism Profile should be made of enough size not overlapping Edge of Base Face so that the part of Solid is eliminated.
