Transform: Attach Shape

Function

Attach selected shapes to a Target shape.  The selected shapes will be moved in the directions of the shortest paths.

Call

Geometry > Transform > Attach

<Attach>

Select Shape(s) to Attach

Select shapes, which will be attached to Target shape.  Any independent shape can be selected.
 

Select Target Shapes

Select Target Shapes (Datum Plane, Solid, Shell, Face, Wire, Edge, Point).  If there is more than one Target Shape, the shapes selected to be attached will be attached to the nearest Target Shape.

Tol Nearness

An Attach operation is carried out only if the distance to the Target Shape is within the value of Tol Nearness.
