Function |
Auto Mesh4 Edge Area automatically generates 2D mesh in a domain defined by 4 boundary lines in space. |

<Auto-Mesh 4-Edge Area> |
Select Edge(s) Select
boundary edges (Edge) of a domain
in space for mesh generation. There must be no
more or no less than four boundary edges Mesh Size Element Size Specify
the element size. Specify the number of divisions at the boundary edges of the shape for a meshing operation.
<Advanced Option>
Mesher Select mesh generation algorithm and element
type.
Generate Offset Elements Construct meshes at the boundaries of the selected planar domains first, and then expand the meshes inward. This command may be applicable for generating quadrilateral meshes using the Loop Mesher or the Grid Mesher.
Register Mesh Function Using this option, the generated meshes are not registered in Mesh Set, but rather they are registered in Mesh Object under Mesh of the Works Tree. Mesh object has the meshed history so that user can conveniently re-mesh it from the Context Menu. |

Notes |
The program provides re-meshing functions for Auto-generated Mesh using its Geometric Shape. However, Auto-Mesh 4 Edge Area is generating a mesh without actual Geometric Shape. It only uses boundary edges. In this case, it provides Mesh Function option which can be used for re-meshing after initial generation.
