Function

Auto Mesh 3 Edge Area automatically generates 2D mesh in a domain defined by 3 boundary lines in space.

Call

Main Menu : Mesh > Map Mesh > 3-Edge Area

Select Edge(s)

Select boundary edges (Edge) of a domain in space for mesh generation.  There must be no more or no less than four boundary edges

Specify the element size.
Division

Specify the number of divisions at the boundary edges of the shape for a meshing operation.

Construct meshes at the boundaries of the selected planar domains first, and then expand the meshes inward.  This command may be applicable for generating quadrilateral meshes using the Loop Mesher or the Grid Mesher.

The program provides re-meshing functions for Auto-generated Mesh using its Geometric Shape. However, Auto-Mesh 3 Edge Area is generating a mesh without actual Geometric Shape. It only uses boundary edges. In this case, it provides Mesh Function option which can be used for re-meshing after initial generation.
