Function |
Map-Mesh Solid generates mapped meshes on selected solids (Solid). |

|
Call |
Mesh > Map Mesh > Solid |

Select Solid(s) Select
solids (Solid), which will be automatically
meshed. Select Base Face Select
a Base Face, which will become the basis for generating a mapped solid
mesh. Although the program automatically specify the Base Face, it often
requires specifying it by user for complex geometric Shape. Mesh Size Element Size Specify
the element size. Specify the number of divisions at the boundaries of the shapes for a meshing operation.
Attribute
<Advanced Option>
Sort Object Faces Specify
the order of Map Mesh generation. If Map Mesh is generated in multiple
Solids in a random order, it often fails due to unmatched number of seeding
between Solids. Therefore, defining the order will resolve it is recommended
to specify the order. CSys Choose the reference coordinate system between the Global Rectangular System and the Global Cylindrical System. Global Rectangular Sorts based on Global X, Y, and Z axis. Global Cylindrical Sorts
based on Radius (R), Rotation (T), and Z-axis (Z).
Register Each Solid Independently When creating meshes for more than one solid, this option registers the mesh of each solid in a separate Mesh Set.

Notes |
In order to generate Map Mesh in a Solid, it must be in a certain Shape. The base face and top face must face each other without any disruptive elements.
