Function
Define a polygonal type of virtual failure surface.

Model > Boundary > Slip Surface > Polygonal Surface

Select
a Boundary Set in which the specified boundary condition is included
Click .jpg)
to the right to prompt the Define Boundary Set dialog box to
add, modify or delete Boundary Sets. If the user types the name of Boundary
Set directly in the entry box, GTS will automatically create the relevant
Boundary Set.
Name
Enter the name of Polygonal Surface Boundary.
Input
GTS provides two method to define Polygonal Slip Surface.
1) Enter coordinates of each vertex in the provided table
2) Click each vertices on Work Window.
