Function

Project node(s) onto the target Face or Edge.

Call

Model > Node > Project

<Project Node>

Select Node(s)

Select nodes (Face, Edge, Mesh, Node) to be projected.
 

Target Shape

Face

Select the target Face (Face).
Edge

Select the target Edge (Edge).
 

Projection Direction

Select the direction of projection. Only nearest projection is allowed when nodes are projected onto Edge.
 

Direction

Select the direction (Datum Axis, Datum Plane, Face, Edge).
Reverse Direction

Reverse the selected direction.
Nearest Projection

Projects nodes onto the nearest point on the target Face.

Notes

When a node is projected, it keeps its connectivity. Therefore, its result is similar to projecting element.
