Material - Modified Cam Clay

Introduction

The Modified Cam-clay model represents the hardening behavior of the elasto-plastic materials based on the critical state concept. Note:  All input parameters must be made in SI units.

Parameters

Over Consolidation Ratio (OCR)

The ratio of the maximum vertical effective stress over the current vertical effective stress.

Poisson's Ratio (v)

Slope of Consol Line (λ)

Slope of Over Consol Line (k)

Critical State Specific Vol. (Γ)

Constant for a particular soil.  The critical state line intersects  the specific volume axis (ie.)  p =1.0.  

Slope of Critical State (M)

Constant for a particular soil.

User defined Pre-consolidation pressure parameter.
