Introduction
The Linear Elastic model is the simplest model in the program. Strain is directly proportional to stress. The slope of linear curve is constant, which depends on the Modulus of Elasticity and Poisson's Ratio.

Friction Angle
Increment of Elastic Modulus MIDAS/GTS can consider a variation in the Young's Modulus of Elasticity of elements with the height. If the increment of increase in Elastic Modulus is zero, the Elastic Modulus is constant throughout the model.
Reference Height
Note:
Elastic and Mohr-Coulomb models are only used in SRM due to c and phi dependency. There are no limits when using material models in SAM.
