Material - Mohr-Coulomb

Introduction

The Mohr-coulomb model is often used to model granular materials such as soil and concrete. midas GTS assumes that the stress-strain relation of this model is elasto-perfectly-plastic.

Parameters

Inc. of Elastic Modulus

Increment of elastic modulus with depth.

Inc. of Cohesion

Increment of cohesion with depth.

Reference Height

Height is taken from datum level

Tensile Strength

Intrinsic soil property

Dilatancy Angle

Dilatancy angle during shear deformation.

Note:

Elastic and Mohr-Coulomb models are only used in SRM due to c and phi dependency.

There are no limits when using material models in SAM.
