Material List
Display the
steel rebar and concrete material properties entered during the
creation of the analysis model. Select the material to be modified
or changed.
Concrete Material Selection
Display
the selected material properties and modify/change the material
property data.
The
material property data can be changed by using
the material property database built-in the program or
by directly
entering the changed data.
Procedure for using the material property
database
Select the relevant code and the material name with the mouse.
The
reinforcing steel bar standards are specified similar to the concrete
standards and may be changed by the user if necessary. That is,
the concrete and rebar standards need not be the same.
Direct
entry by the user
Select 'None' in the Code field and enter the name of the material
to be used in the Name field. Then, each data field is activated
and the following material property data can be entered :
Specified
Compressive Strength (f'c/fck): Design compressive cylinder
strength of concrete
Compressive
Strength at Transfer, fci (Pre-tension):
Check on this option to define the compressive strength at transfer
of prestressing manually, if this option is checked off then the
compressive strength at transfer will be applied as 0.8 fck. Even
when time-dependent compressive strength is defined, the strength
at transfer defined here will be applied for design.
This option is only available if AS 5100.5:17 is selected in design
code
Rebar Selection
(refer to Note 3)
Code:
Select reinforcing steel standards
Grade
of Main Rebar: Grade of main rebar
Grade
of Sub-Rebar: Grade of sub-rebar (stirrups & ties)
Fy:
Yield strength of main rebar
Fys:
Yield strength of sub-rebar
Note 1
If any of NAME, Ec, f'c, and Grade of the Main Rebar and Grade
of the Sub-Rebar material property data is omitted in the analysis
model, the
following values are used:
Note 2
The concrete standards are classified into None, ASTM(RC), CSA(RC),
BS(RC), EN(RC), NTC(RC), UNI(RC), GOST(RC), JIS(RC), GB(RC), GB-Civil(RC),
KS(RC), KS-Civil(RC), IS(RC), etc...
Note 3
The following standards define the moduli of elasticity of concrete:
Note 4
If "None" is specified in the Code, the program applies
the user-defined material properties to carry out the design. |
