Measure: Surface Distance

Function

measure the distance between two selected surfaces.

Call

Main Menu : Geometry > Measure > Surface Distance...

<Surface Distance>

Select Surface 1, 2

Select the desired two surfaces.
 

Bounding Box - Base CSys

Measure the distance between two selected surfaces based on the selected coordinate system.

Bounding Box Size

Calculate the Bounding Box Size which includes the two desired surfaces as shown in the figure below.

Minimum Distance

Measure the Minimum Distance between two desired surfaces.

Mean (Bounding Box & Minimum)

Measure the Mean Distance between two desired surfaces.
