Nodal Loads

Enter concentrated nodal loads (Concentrated Forces and Moments), or modify or delete previously entered concentrated loads.

From the Main Menu select Load > Nodal Loads.

Select Static Loads > Nodal Loads in the Menu tab of the Tree Menu.

 Load Case Name

Assign the load case name. Click to the right to enter, additional load cases and modify or delete existing load cases.

 

Load Group Name

Select the desire Load Group that will include the entered Nodal Loads data. Select "Defualt", if a Group assignment is unnecessary. Click to the right to add, modify or delete Load Groups.

 

Options

Add: To enter new or additional concentrated nodal loads

Replace: To replace previously entered concentrated nodal loads

Delete: To delete previously entered concentrated nodal loads

 

Nodal Loads

Enter concentrated nodal loads with respect to GCS.

FX: GCS X-direction component of the concentrated load

FY: GCS Y-direction component of the concentrated load

FZ: GCS Z-direction component of the concentrated load

MX: Concentrated moment component about GCS X-axis

MY: Concentrated moment component about GCS Y-axis

MZ: Concentrated moment component about GCS Z-axis
