Specify load acting on the centroid of foundation.

From the Main Menu, select Foundation > Load & Boundary > Foundation Load image269.gif

From the Command Line, type 'FoundationLoad' or 'PDL'

Load Set

Enter the name of Foundation Load.

 

Vx

(In-plane) Horizontal force in the direction of bridge alignment.

 

Vy

(Transverse) Horizontal force perpendicular to the direction of bridge alignment.

 

P

Vertical force.

 

Mx

Moment about the axis of bridge alignment.

 

My

Moment about the transverse axis.

 

Mz

Moment about vertical axis.

 

Load State

Select either a Normal condition or a Seismic condition.

 

No. of Repetitions

Enter the number of iterations for seismic load.
