Serviceability Load combination type

 

 

 

Use this function to classify serviceability load combination. These load combinations are used for the crack control. It is activated for Eurocode2-2:05, IRC:112-2011 and BS 5400-4:1990.

 

 

 

From the Main Menu select PSC > PSC Design Data >Serviceability Load Combination Type.

 

 

 

 

Eurocode 2-2: 05 or IRC:112-2011

  Quasi -permanent

Select load combination classified for Quassi -permanent according to Table7.1 N.

Frequent

Select load combination classified for Frequent according to Table7.1 N.

 Characteristic

Select load combination classified for Frequent.

Note

This field is necessary for calculation of Crack width.

 

 

BS 5400-4:1990

For the cracking control for prestressed concrete, the load combinations considered for the appropriate category should be as follows:

a) Class 1 under load combination 1

b) Class 2 or Class 3 for load combinations 2 to 5

Select load combination classified for combination 1 of serviceability limit state.

Combination 2 to 5

Select load combination classified for combination 2 to 5 of serviceability limit state.
