WARNING [4040]: MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ITERATIONS FOR AMG IS TOO SMALL. DEFAULT VALUE # WILL BE USED

Cause

When using the AMG solver, this warning is generated if the maximum number of iterations has been defined too low (<10).

Analysis Type

All types of analyses except for explicit dynamic analysis

Remedy

Check if the maximum number of iterations and the convergence tolerance are set to 1000 and 1e-006 respectively.  If they are not set to the default values, click the "Initialize" button at the bottom left of the dialog box to set them back to the defaults.
