PSC Output Position

 

 

 

This feature enables the user to select the ends of element  for which moment and (or) shear and (or) torsion strength are to be produced in output report generated from PSC Design Calculations after PSC Design. Output only for those elements is produced that have been assigned PSC Design Option. If no element is selected in PSC Print Option, then no element result is produced in the report.

 

 

 

From the Main Menu select PSC > PSC Design Data > Design/Output Position > Output Position.

 

 

 

Click to the right of Position for PSC Output: Display the Position for PSC Output Table.

  Option

Add/Replace: Add/Replace the print option to the selected element for output

Delete: Delete the print option defined previously for the selected element

Moment Strength:

M(+): Produce flexural strength for positive moment

None: Do not produce flexural strength.

I: Produce flexural strength only at i-end

J: Produce flexural strength only at j-end

I & J: Produce flexural strength at both ends

M(-): Produce flexural strength for negative moment

None: Do not produce flexural strength.

I: Produce flexural strength only at i-end

J: Produce flexural strength only at j-end

I & J: Produce flexural strength at both ends

 Shear Strength:

None: Do not produce shear strength.

I: Produce shear strength only at i-end

J: Produce shear strength only at j-end

I & J: Produce shear strength at both ends

 Torsion Strength:

None: Do not produce torsion strength.

I: Produce torsion strength only at i-end

J: Produce torsion strength only at j-end

I & J: Produce torsion strength at both ends
