<Anchor Wizard>

Type

Select the type of anchor to be created.

Element

Start/End Location

The user inputs the head node position of the anchor, or  assigns this by clicking in the Work Window.

Direction

Select the method to assign the direction of the anchor installation.  

Ungrouted Length

Inputs the ungrouted length of the anchor.  When creating an element, the Seeding method "Number of Division" is set to 1, always creating 1 element.  

Grouted Length

Inputs the grouted length of the anchor.  When creating an element, the Seeding method "Interval Length" is set to 1, creating elements with an interval length.  

ABS x, y, z

Input the position directly from the Work Window, or click the end position of the anchor to assign.   

(for 2D, it is changed to ABS x, y)   

REL dx, dy, dz

With the Start Location as the reference point, input the relevant position, or click and assign the end point of the anchor.  (for 2D, it is changed to dx, dy)

Pretension Type

When the pretension load is used in element, GTS assumes that the truss stiffness is ignored and truss member force is exactly same with pretension force.
