Surface

Create Surface from an enclosed area by selecting curves enclosing the area.

After creating Surface, Ground Material Properties can be assigned and 2D mesh can be generated. As a Surface is composed of curves, Loads/Boundaries can be assigned to the outer curves of the Surface.

Applicable Modules:

From the Main Menu, select Geometry > Create > Surface

From the Command Line, type 'Surface' or 'S'

Select Objects: Select all the curves to create a Surface and then press Enter or Space Bar Key.

Note: An open enclosure by the selected curves is considered to be closed if the separation is within the tolerance.
